(he is a ridgeback after all!) the midlands and northern rhodesian ridgeback support and rescue trust are asked to re-home both dogs and bitches from as young as four months to the oldies of twelve and thirteen years. our rescue co-ordinator, works tirelessly to find them permanent homes matching dogs and prospective owners to ensure, to the best of our abilities, that it will be the last time the dog has to go through the trauma of being "passed on". sadly, despite the best efforts of all ridgeback clubs, the number of ridgebacks that are in need of re-homing continues to grow. profits from all our rescue events together with all donations are utilised in aiding the rescue of these unfortunate dogs. upcoming events and fundraising 08.02.2018 rhodesian ridgeback memorobilia - single lot auction we are planning a single lot auction to be held on the m&n rhodesian ridgeback rescue facebook group which will be open for bids from thursday 8th february to sunday 11th february 2018. the single lot to be offered is a signed hardcover copy of the rhodesian ridgeback 1924-74 by janet n murray , a book long out of print. this work could well be described as a history and celebration of the first 50 years of recognition for the breed and, for a copy to come on the market a rare event indeed. the book was bequeathed to raise funds for rhodesian ridgeback rescue by the late janet parker of the famous rejan kennel . should you have an interest in the history of the breed this item is not to be missed. please keep closely in touch with our facebook group m&n rhodesian ridgeback rescue for further details.   -- 03.05.2018 rhodesian ridgeback memorabilia auctions the auctions are back!
